There are a lot of training plans out there, but these online courses not only provide you with appropriate 10-week training plans to help you reach your running goal, they also don't require you to run with anyone else or join any groups or clubs.
(Don't get me wrong, groups and clubs are great, but they're not for everyone).
These courses are ideal if you:
Feel self-conscious running with other people
Would like to feel comfortable running on your own before joining a group
Have tried other plans but felt unsupported along the way
Don't like running with other people
Can't or don't want to make the days/times set by groups and clubs
Hi, my name is Emma Shergold and I have been working with runners since 2007.
I have been coaching runners for many years, helping them to reach their goals, overcome challenges, and understand the importance of following a training plan that is suitable for them.
I have also led some very successful Beginner Running Courses over the last few years, and developed a popular Return to Running Course that helps people return to running after a prolonged break.
All of this experience provides me with the knowledge and understanding required to coach people new, returning, and more regular or experienced runners.
I have progressed my career from Sports Massage Therapy to including Personal Training (Strength & Conditioning), and then onto qualifying as an England Athletics Running Coach.
