It has been a a really good start to 2022 for me and my business, and I’m very excited about various things happening in the next few months.
One of the things I have been keen to introduce and develop is how I can continue to support my clients after their sports massage treatment.
I have some fantastic conversations with people during their massage sessions, covering all sorts of topics, including training plans, races, strength and conditioning, mental health, and other medical issues I/they have been experiencing.
Sometimes these conversations are so valuable to my clients that I feel it would be beneficial to continue them in a different environment.
I have also realised that, since my recent diagnoses (which you can read about here if you’ve missed it), that I love learning about new theories and subjects and am pretty good at retaining information that I’m particularly interested in!
This, combined with my knowledge and experience of running, injuries, and other topics, plus my passion for helping others, means I am in a very fortunate position to continue supporting people beyond their sports massage appointments.
I am, therefore, introducing a Planning & Mentoring session to my services, which is now available to book.
The benefits of a Planning & Mentoring Session
These sessions support my belief that a training plan is just a small part of running, and running, other exercise or having a massage is quite often the ‘easy’ part when taking into consideration other elements of your training or lifestyle.
So, if you have a race coming up and don’t know how to train for it, would like some advice on your pacing, nutrition or recovery, or would like to get (back) into running but don’t know where to start, then a planning and mentoring session is for you!
I will use an empathetic mentoring approach, together with my extensive experience and knowledge in a wide range of areas, to provide you with support and recommendations to help you make the right decisions and changes for you and your goals within your lifestyle.
